Ubuntu Education Fund

Ubuntu Education Fund is dedicated to working with the people of the Eastern Cape Province to develop quality education and healthy communities in the new South Africa. Founded in 1999, Ubuntu addresses pressing social issues in the townships of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Today, Ubuntu Education Fund is reaching over 40,000 children and 13,000 adults through its health, literacy and technology initiatives. Although Ubuntu Educational Fund work is geographically focused in the townships of Port Elizabeth, the program models developed for that area can be used as a blueprint for culturally appropriate, socially responsible development in any community around the world.
